Learner Responses from Mock Exam ..

Account for the similarities and differences in the codes and conventions used in the media products for your case study .. 

Completed mock exam on the 4th of March.

Achieved Level 4, Grade B+

Feedback from mock exam - 
WWW: Excellent understanding of techniques used.
LR: Try to involve more theory (e.g. audience theories like users and gratifications) Write a paragraph doing this.

Targets: 
-Clear, well organised & appropriate communication, Engaged response with fluent use of media terminology.
-Confident understanding and application of media ideas/issues/theories/debates 
 
The trailer which comes under broadcasting media promotes the film in a different way to Print or E-media as it's targeted to a different audience in the sense that the trailer provides escapism which is means if the audience is having a rough time the film helps them take their mind of their own problems and escape to a different atmosphere. The trailer also provides entertainment in the sense that the audience get to watch it instead of reading the reviews, they get a visual idea which would persuade them to watch the film, this theory uses and gratifications by Blumler and Katz was made to find out why audiences many engage with the media.
