Film Language Assessment ..

Feedback from Assessment ..

Grade B

WWW- You make some very good points here and are certainly close to a higher grade: Q2 is strong.
EBI- In Q1 you get a little confused between realism and tension- make sure you answer the question, you also need to check some of the terms you've used (diegetic)
LR- How was the editing used to create realism?

They've used continuity editing for this short clip which is really effective when wanting to create a feel of reality, making the scene much more realistic. All of the short cuts hint the panic and fear in the peoples faces which again also adds to the realism the clip is trying to create. Also, the timing of the shots, some shots jump to next really fast whereas some like when their filming the terrorist jump to the next shot after a short period of time, this therefore not only shows that these men are up to no good but also makes everything feel so real. So realistic. Overall, the quality of the clip is so well edited thus making it look more realistic.
